The port of Sanary has retained much of the original feel of a small fishing village. Sidewalk restaurants are placed at the waterside and from here you can see the fishermen arrive with todays catch. The traditional fishing boats “read Pointus” are still in use.

In Sanary there is a large Provencal market every Wednesday morning throughout the year. Here you can buy local food and most things you’ll need for the wardrobe and the household.
